With Heavy Hearts: In Loving Memory of Our Grandson
It is with very heavy hearts and overwhelming grief that we share the devastating and tragic loss of our beloved grandson this week. There are no words to truly express the heartbreak we are experiencing as a family. The passing of someone so young, so full of life and potential, has left an emptiness that we will carry with us forever.
During times like these, we find strength in the support and compassion of those around us — friends, family, neighbors, and even kind-hearted strangers who have reached out. Your messages, your prayers, and your presence have meant the world to us in this unimaginable moment of sorrow. We are deeply grateful for every expression of love we’ve received.
As we now face the difficult road ahead — especially the painful process of planning a funeral for someone taken far too soon — we humbly ask for your help.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that anyone wishing to offer their support consider making a contribution to a GoFundMe campaign established in honor of our grandson. All proceeds will go directly to his loving parents, Jonathan Scholl and Natalie Mancuso, and will assist them with funeral expenses and related costs, as well as help provide some comfort and stability to his dear brothers, Parker and Carson, who are also mourning this heartbreaking loss.
We know that no donation can erase the pain or bring him back, but your generosity can help ease some of the financial burden that Jonathan and Natalie now face as they grieve their son and try to find a path forward for their family.
A Life That Touched So Many
Though his time with us was far too short, our grandson touched so many lives with his light, his laughter, and his beautiful spirit. His memory will live on in every story we tell, in the love we continue to carry, and in the community that surrounds us with such strength and grace.
This loss is a tragedy that no parent, no grandparent, no sibling should ever have to endure — and yet, through the heartbreak, we remain surrounded by the kind of compassion and unity that brings a glimmer of hope during these darkest days.
If you are able to contribute or share the GoFundMe page, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, is a reminder that we are not alone.
Please keep Jonathan, Natalie, Parker, and Carson in your thoughts and prayers. Their world has changed forever, and now more than ever, they need the love and support of their community.
Thank you for walking beside us in this time of sorrow. Your care means more than words can say.
