With hearts broken beyond words, we announce the passing of Kashton Vogler, beloved son of Steve Vogler (Reed-Custer Athletic Director), who died tragically on Thursday, May 15, 2025 — just nine days before what would have been his 4th birthday

Affectionately known to many as “Kash Money,” Kashton was more than just a nickname — he was a bright spark of joy, love, and endless curiosity. In the short time he graced this world, he touched the lives of all who met him, leaving an imprint that will never fade.

Born on May 24, 2021, Kashton embodied the purest spirit of childhood — full of laughter, boundless energy, and a smile that could melt even the hardest of days. His giggles could light up a room, his hugs brought instant comfort, and his wide-eyed wonder reminded everyone to see life through a softer, more beautiful lens.

Those who knew Kash will remember his love for adventure, his fearless embrace of the world around him, and the way he brought out the best in those who surrounded him. Whether it was racing around in the yard, dancing to music with unfiltered joy, or sitting peacefully in a loved one’s lap, Kash lived every moment fully and wholeheartedly.

He was the pride and joy of his parents, the light of their lives, and a beacon of happiness for his extended family and community. As the cherished son of Steve Vogler, who has long been a central figure in the Reed-Custer community, Kashton’s loss has reverberated far and wide — drawing together a network of friends, students, athletes, and families whose hearts are now united in sorrow and support.

There are no words that can fully capture the depth of this loss. To lose a child — so young, so vibrant, and so loved — is a sorrow no family should ever bear. And yet, even in this profound grief, Kashton’s family finds solace in the joy he gave, the lessons he taught without ever knowing, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

Kashton is survived by his loving parents, his extended family, and an entire community that now grieves with them. In his nearly four years of life, he became a symbol of hope and happiness — a light that, even in passing, continues to shine.

As we remember Kashton, we do not dwell solely on the tragedy of his passing, but on the incredible beauty of his life. In his short time, he lived a story of love — surrounded by family, cheered on by a community, and held always in arms that adored him.

Memorial details will be shared in the coming days. In the meantime, the Vogler family asks for continued prayers, love, and privacy as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Rest in peace, sweet Kash Money. Your joy will echo in our hearts forever. Though your time here was brief, the love you gave and received was infinite.

You are missed. You are loved. You are remembered.
