Tragic Shooting in Marion County, South Carolina: Two Dead, Two Injured

On the evening of Thursday, May 29, 2025, a tragic shooting occurred on Tubello Court in Marion County, South Carolina. Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shots-fired call at approximately 7:21 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The identities of the deceased have not been released pending notification of next of kin. As of 10:22 p.m., the scene remained active, with multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Marion Police Department, Mullins Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit, federal agents, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), present and assisting in the investigation.
