Tragic Franklin Crash Claims Life of 5-Year-Old Girl, Leaves Family Devastated; Driver Faces Serious Charges

According to Norfolk County District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey, emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a devastating collision between a family’s car and a pickup truck. The young girl, a passenger in the sedan, succumbed to her injuries. Her mother and older brother, also in the car, sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital in critical condition. The child’s father, who was behind the wheel of the sedan, was treated for his injuries and later released.

The presence of an open alcohol container in his vehicle further compounded the severity of the charges against him.
