It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the flooding that has recently affected Western Maryland. As many of you know, the region has experienced significant rainfall, and the resulting flooding has impacted areas around the DelFest Fairgrounds. We want to take a moment to update you on the situation, reassure you of our preparedness, and share our plans as we continue to move forward with DelFest.
First and foremost, we are grateful to report that the worst of the rain has passed, and the floodwaters are already beginning to recede. While the Fairgrounds did experience some flooding, we are confident that the situation is under control, and the water will soon return to the banks of the Potomac River where it belongs. The team on the ground, along with our dedicated partners in the county, has worked tirelessly to manage the conditions and ensure the safety of our festival and surrounding community.

Over the years, DelFest has been fortunate to work closely with the local authorities and our partners in Garrett County to prepare for weather-related challenges, including flooding.
