GRAND MOUND, WA — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early this morning, September 14, 2025, in the Grand Mound area of Thurston County. Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting at a residence located on 201st Avenue SW around 7:00 a.m.
Despite immediate life-saving efforts by Thurston County deputies and West Thurston Fire personnel, the victim, a local resident in their mid-20s, tragically succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
