SALISBURY, MD — Tragic Loss of Lorenzo Taylor Sends Shockwaves Through Princess Anne Community
The tight-knit communities of Princess Anne and its surrounding areas are grappling with profound sorrow following the tragic death of Lorenzo Taylor, a 48-year-old resident who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, May 11, 2025. The fatal crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Route 50 and Tilghman Road in Salisbury, a location known for its heavy traffic and challenging merges.
According to preliminary reports from the Maryland State Police, Taylor was riding his motorcycle westbound on Route 50 when a passenger vehicle attempting to turn left onto Tilghman Road collided with him. First responders arrived quickly at the scene, but despite their efforts and immediate medical intervention, Taylor succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
