Quitman Tragedy: Edward Denson, 25, Fatally Shot; Khalil Proctor, 20, Charged with Felony Murder
Quitman, GA — A tragic shooting on the evening of April 28, 2025, claimed the life of 25-year-old Edward Denson in Quitman, Georgia. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Khalil Proctor, 20, has been arrested and charged with felony murder in connection with the fatal incident.
Authorities responded swiftly to reports of gunfire and found Denson suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Denson was pronounced dead at the scene. The GBI launched an immediate investigation, which quickly led to the identification and apprehension of Proctor.
