Longview Police Investigating Deadly Shooting at Apartment Complex
Longview, TX — The Longview Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that took place late Friday evening, September 12, 2025, at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Bostic. Officers were dispatched at approximately 10:31 p.m. following reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they discovered two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was rushed to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The second victim, identified as Jonathan Lee, of Lakeport, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene by a Gregg County Justice of the Peace.
Police confirmed that the suspect fled the area before officers arrived.
