LEWD PROPOSAL TO A MINOR — Man arrested after trying to have sex with a 14-year-old girl
On March 27th, 2025, the Tulsa Police Sexual Predator Digital Evidence Recovery Unit (SPDR) began an undercover online child exploitation investigation on an online chatting website.
The suspect, 41-year-old Erik Trujillo, initiated a conversation on an online chatting website with whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl but was actually an undercover Officer.
Trujillo asked to move the conversation to Snapchat and made sexually suggestive statements. On March 31st, 2025, Trujillo asked if he could pick up the 14-year-old on his lunch break the next day and have sex with her in his truck.
On April 1st, 2025, around 1 p.m., Trujillo thought he was meeting a 14-year-old girl for sex in a parking lot, but instead, he was met by Officers and taken into custody.
Trujillo admitted to sending the sexual messages to whom he believed was an underage girl.
Erik Trujillo was arrested for:
– Lewd Proposals to a Minor
– Using Technology to Communicate with a Minor
– Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony
