KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Knoxville man has been charged in connection with a deadly stabbing that left a woman dead Friday afternoon. Authorities say 27-year-old Trevon Blair is facing a charge of second-degree murder following the violent incident, which has left a family and community shaken.
At approximately 3 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a call in the area of Kenner Avenue and Olive Street, where they discovered a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency personnel immediately rendered aid before transporting her to UT Medical Center. Tragically, despite life-saving efforts, the victim later succumbed to her injuries.
Investigators quickly determined that the crime scene was located at a home in the 300 block of Ben Hur Avenue. A witness at the scene was able to provide officers with a possible suspect description, which helped lead to a rapid response.
