Investigation Underway After Apparent Murder-Suicide in Rolling Hills

ROLLING HILLS, Calif. — Authorities are investigating a tragic incident in Rolling Hills after three people were found dead inside a home Saturday night in what deputies believe to be a domestic violence-related murder-suicide.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) reported that deputies responded to the residence, located on the 100 block of Crest Road East, shortly before 10:30 p.m. after receiving a 911 call. A woman had contacted authorities upon discovering her sister and father deceased inside the home.

When deputies arrived, they discovered a third victim, another woman, also dead at the scene. Officials confirmed that all three victims were found inside the residence.

Early Investigation Points to Murder-Suicide

In a statement, LASD said that early findings suggest the incident was a domestic violence-related murder-suicide. At this stage, detectives do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public or surrounding community.

No motive has yet been released, and investigators are still working to piece together the events that led up to the tragedy.

Identification Pending

The identities of the victims are being withheld pending official confirmation by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office, which will also determine the official cause and manner of death.
