In Loving Memory of Seb Farrall: A Tribute to a Remarkable Life
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and former band member, Seb Farrall, who was Promoted to Glory on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Seb’s passing has left a void in our hearts and in the lives of everyone who knew him, and we are deeply affected by this loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife, Fran, their young daughter, Maisie, his parents, extended family, and the Coventry City Salvation Army as they all navigate this incredibly difficult time.
Seb’s tragic death came on what should have been a day of celebration—his birthday. Instead of the joy that typically accompanies the marking of another year, the day is now etched in our memories as the day we had to say goodbye to a man who meant so much to so many.
Seb was more than just a band member; he was a devoted Christian, a gifted musician, and a true gentleman. His musical talents were evident to anyone who heard him play. He brought joy to many with his dedication to the art, but it wasn’t just his musical abilities that defined him. Seb’s heart for others, his compassion, and his unwavering faith made him an irreplaceable presence in our lives.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Seb understand the kind of person he was—always humble, always kind, always selfless. Whether he was playing his instrument, lending a listening ear, or sharing in a moment of joy or sorrow, Seb did so with a love and dedication that touched everyone around him.
For Fran, Maisie, and the entire family, we offer our most heartfelt condolences. Seb’s loss will undoubtedly leave a profound emptiness, but we take solace in knowing that he is now with his Lord and Savior. While we grieve his passing, we also find peace in the knowledge that he is in a place of eternal rest, surrounded by love and light.
As a band, we will forever remember Seb’s contributions—both musically and personally. His spirit will live on in the music he played, in the friendships he cultivated, and in the legacy of kindness he left behind. The Coventry City Salvation Army, where Seb had a deep connection, will feel this loss deeply as well, as he was a valued member of the community there.
We pray for God’s comfort and strength for Fran, Maisie, and the entire Farrall family as they face the days ahead. May they feel the support and love of everyone around them as they begin the journey of healing. We also pray for the wider community of Seb’s friends, church family, and colleagues, that they may find peace and solace in the shared memories of Seb’s life and the faith he held so dear.
In this time of mourning, let us remember Seb’s life, not in sorrow, but in gratitude for the beautiful person he was and the impact he made. Let us celebrate his legacy, not only as a musician but as a man who lived with purpose, love, and devotion to God and those around him.
Seb, we will miss you deeply, but we take comfort in knowing that you are now in the presence of your Lord, and that one day, we will be reunited with you. Until that time comes, we will honor your memory, keep your family in our prayers, and continue to be inspired by the way you lived your life. May God bless you and keep you, always.
Rest in peace, Seb. You are loved beyond measure, and you will never be forgotten.
