She was born on February 14, 2001, in South Bend, Indiana, to Jeffrey and Courtney (Novak) Hyska.

Sarah’s educational journey began at Michigan City High School, where she graduated in 2019. Even during her high school years, Sarah displayed an unwavering commitment to excellence in everything she did. Her athleticism, particularly in swimming, was truly remarkable. Sarah was a decorated swimmer, holding three school records and earning a swimming scholarship, a testament to her hard work and dedication to her sport.
After graduating from high school, Sarah pursued her dream of becoming a nurse at Purdue University Northwest, where she graduated in 2024 with a nursing degree. Sarah’s passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of those in need led her to the Emergency Department at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana. There, she worked as a Registered Nurse (RN), providing care to those who needed it most. Sarah’s dedication to her role was clear, as she poured her heart and soul into every patient she treated. Her colleagues remember her as a compassionate, skilled, and determined professional who always went above and beyond for her patients.
