It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ruben Esteban Mendoza Jr., who was found deceased on November 12, 2025, near South Nogales Highway and East Lumber Street in Pima County, Arizona. He was 47 years old. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) responded to the scene shortly before 12:30 p.m. after receiving a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, deputies confirmed the heartbreaking reality that Ruben had passed away. At this time, officials have found no signs of anything suspicious, though the case remains under investigation as authorities continue to ensure that every detail is fully understood.

Ruben’s passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and community. To those who knew him best, Ruben was more than just a name in a report—he was a man full of warmth, kindness, and quiet strength. He carried himself with a gentle spirit, often putting others before himself and finding joy in the simple moments of life.
