According to the preliminary investigation, the tragic incident occurred at approximately 7:38 a.m. on the 14800 block of Verdon Road. Authorities reported that a 2025 Subaru, driven by Megan Fisher, was traveling westbound when it crossed the double solid line and collided head-on with an eastbound Toyota Tundra. First responders arrived swiftly at the scene, but sadly, Megan was pronounced deceased.
Also involved in the crash were two juvenile passengers in Megan’s vehicle, who were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
