In Loving Memory of Kimora Ashanti Robinson
It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of 17-year-old Kimora Ashanti Robinson of Winterville, North Carolina. On the evening of October 7th, 2025, at approximately 6:09 P.M., the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to a fatal collision on Forlines Road in Pitt County involving two vehicles.
According to authorities, Kimora was attempting to turn left onto Forlines Road from the parking lot of South-Central High School when she was struck by another vehicle traveling westbound on Forlines Road. Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, Kimora tragically succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to ECU Health with serious injuries, though they are reported to be non-life-threatening. At this time, officials have indicated that no charges are expected in connection with the collision.
Kimora was a bright and promising young woman, known for her vibrant spirit, kindness, and her presence in the South-Central High School community. Friends, classmates, and teachers remember her as someone who brought light and energy to every room she entered. Her loss is felt deeply across her school, her neighborhood, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
