The Kingsport Police Department has confirmed that Johnathon was found deceased at a residence on Sky South Road after officers responded to reports of gunfire and an individual lying unresponsive on the ground.
According to authorities, patrol officers were dispatched shortly after receiving a 9-1-1 call about gunshots in the area. When they arrived, they discovered Johnathon suffering from fatal injuries. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives with the Kingsport Police Department immediately took over the investigation, securing the area and collecting evidence.
Following a swift and focused investigation, police identified Krysten Atkins and Tyler Holly as persons of interest in connection with the incident. By 5:00 p.m. that same day, both suspects were located at a residence on Garden Drive and taken into custody.
