The community of Dallas, Pennsylvania, is mourning the loss of Jeffrey Mullen, a beloved alumnus of Dallas High School and the esteemed owner of Main Optical. Jeffrey passed away on May 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and service that touched the lives of many.

Born and raised in Dallas, Jeffrey was a proud graduate of Dallas High School, where he was known for his academic excellence and active involvement in school activities. His commitment to his community was evident from a young age, and he carried that dedication throughout his life.

After high school, Jeffrey pursued higher education and returned to Dallas, where he became a cornerstone of the local business community. In 1998, he opened Main Optical, a family-owned and operated optical shop that quickly became known for its personalized service and commitment to quality. Under Jeffrey’s leadership, Main Optical grew into a trusted establishment, serving generations of families in the Dallas area.

A memorial service to celebrate Jeffrey’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Dallas on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dallas High School Scholarship Fund in Jeffrey’s name.
