In Loving Memory of JB Brnet

Today, we honor and remember the life of JB Brnet, a compassionate soul who devoted his days to caring for others and bringing light into the lives of those around him. JB’s journey through life reflected his love of people, his dedication to his work, and the quiet but powerful way he touched so many hearts.

JB served as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) at A Special Touch In Home Care, where his natural kindness and patience made him an invaluable part of both his workplace and the families he supported. He was not simply an attendant but a source of comfort, encouragement, and dignity to those in his care. His ability to treat each person with respect and empathy showed his deep understanding that care is not just a profession, but a calling.

His path in life was shaped by his studies at Bluefield State University, where he pursued education with determination and pride. Those who studied alongside him recall his steady presence, his drive to succeed, and his readiness to share a smile or a helping hand. His academic journey reflected his belief in growth and his desire to build a meaningful future, one where he could give back to others.

Born and raised in Bluefield, West Virginia, JB carried with him the values of family, community, and perseverance instilled in him from an early age. He remained deeply connected to his roots even as he built his life in Charleston, West Virginia, where he became a beloved friend, neighbor, and colleague.

To his friends and loved ones, JB was more than the roles he held. He was a listener, a supporter, and a person who could be counted on to lift others up. He had a quiet strength, balanced by warmth and humor, that made people feel at ease in his presence. Those who knew him best will remember the small but powerful ways he showed his care—through kind words, thoughtful actions, and the sincerity he carried in everything he did.

Though his time with us was far too brief, the impact JB made will continue to resonate. His legacy is carried forward not only in the memories of family and friends, but also in the lives of those he served with dignity and compassion. The love and kindness he gave so freely will ripple outward, reminding all of us to live with the same empathy and generosity.

As we say goodbye to JB Brnet, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life marked by service, love, and authenticity. May his memory inspire us to be kinder, to cherish our connections, and to care for one another just as he did.

Rest in peace, JB. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit and the love you shared will remain forever in our hearts.
