In that tragic moment, his car collided with a Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck that was lawfully making a left turn under a green light. The impact pinned the vehicle against the trailer, and though first responders arrived swiftly, George sadly passed away at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
