It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of Charles Anthony Leslie II, age 40, of Springdale Circle in the Boiling Springs community, who lost his life in a devastating traffic crash on Friday evening, October 18, 2025, along Old Furnace Road near Southland Road in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, emergency personnel responded to the scene following reports of a serious collision involving multiple fatalities. Charles was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities are continuing to work to positively identify a second decedent involved in the crash, and updates will be released once family notifications are completed.
Charles, known to many as “Tony,” was a beloved son, father, friend, and community member whose passing leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was a man of quiet strength and generosity, always ready to lend a hand, offer a smile, or share a laugh that could lift anyone’s spirits.
Born and raised in the Boiling Springs community, Charles took great pride in his roots. He was hardworking, dependable, and deeply devoted to his family and friends.
