Aaliyah’s life was tragically cut short on Friday following a devastating two-vehicle head-on collision along the Sans Souci Parkway near Linden Drive.
According to Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes, Aaliyah passed away at the scene due to multiple traumatic injuries. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. as she was traveling southbound in the passing lane when another vehicle, traveling northbound, crossed into her lane, resulting in a violent collision. The driver of the other vehicle, as well as a woman and a toddler inside, were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by Hanover Township Police.
