TROUP COUNTY, Ga. — A Hamilton man has died following a tragic crash that left his vehicle submerged in water along Interstate 85 early Thursday morning, September 4, 2025.
Authorities have identified the victim as 48-year-old Cleveland “Clarke” Stallings of Hamilton. According to the Troup County Sheriff’s Office, emergency crews were called to the scene in the early hours after reports of a vehicle leaving the roadway.
