Frisco Police Arrest 17-Year-Old in Fatal Stabbing of High School Student at Track Meet
Frisco, TX – A tragic incident unfolded at Frisco Memorial High School, where a 17-year-old student, Austin Metcalf, was fatally stabbed during a track meet on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Authorities have confirmed the arrest of the suspect, Karmelo Anthony, 17, who has been charged with Murder (1st Degree Felony) in connection with the stabbing.
Deadly Altercation at the Track Meet
According to the Frisco Police Department (FPD), officers and emergency responders were called to the 6900 block of Stadium Lane around 10:00 a.m. after receiving reports of a violent altercation. Witnesses say what began as a verbal dispute between Metcalf and Anthony quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.
