Fort Ann Shooting Claims Lives of Two Glens Falls Teens; Suspect in Custody
FORT ANN, NY — A tragic shooting on Thursday night has left two 19-year-old men from Glens Falls dead, sending shockwaves through the Washington County community. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Clay Hill Road, a rural area southeast of Comstock.
New York State Police and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire and discovered the victims lying in the roadway with life-threatening injuries. The victims, identified as Adam M. Darrah and Marcus J. Macaulay, were transported to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were pronounced dead later that evening.
A suspect is currently in custody, though authorities have not yet released the individual’s identity. Washington County District Attorney Tony Jordan indicated that murder charges are likely, with an arraignment expected at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the county jail in Fort Edward.
