Bianca Castro “Jiggly Caliente” Obituary – Celebrated Drag Performer and LGBTQ+ Advocate Dies at 44

Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world as Jiggly Caliente, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 44. Her family announced her death via Instagram, stating she died surrounded by loved ones.

Born on November 29, 1980, in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines, Bianca moved to the United States at the age of 10, settling in Queens, New York. She rose to prominence as a contestant on Season 4 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2012 and returned for “All Stars” Season 6 in 2021. In 2022, she joined “Drag Race Philippines” as a judge for three seasons.

Beyond her television appearances, Jiggly was known for her role as Veronica Ferocity on FX’s “Pose” and for her music career, including the 2018 hip-hop album “T.H.O.T. Process.” She publicly came out as transgender in 2016 and was a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

In April 2025, Jiggly underwent a right leg amputation due to a severe infection. Despite the health challenges, she remained passionate about her career and advocacy work.
