Authorities Identify Victims in Fatal Double-Crash on State Road 66 in Warrick County

HENDERSON, Ky. — Authorities have identified the victims of a double-fatal crash that occurred on State Road 66 in Warrick County as 74-year-old Ricky Kiesel of Newburgh and 52-year-old Jason Born of Evansville. The tragic incident occurred Wednesday morning and has left the local community mourning the loss of two residents.

According to the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. while both vehicles were traveling along State Road 66. Preliminary reports indicate that the two vehicles collided head-on under circumstances still under investigation. Emergency responders from Warrick County Fire Department and local EMS agencies arrived at the scene, but both Kiesel and Born were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the cause of the crash.
