Two Men Injured in Shooting Near Riverside Park in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a shooting incident near Riverside Park in the 2400 block of Riverside Drive East on Sunday evening, leaving two men injured.
According to public police reports, the first officers arrived at the scene at approximately 5:37 p.m., following initial notifications of possible gunfire in the area. Authorities were then alerted to a confirmed shooting that occurred around 6:18 p.m. Shortly after, IMPD confirmed that two adult males had sustained injuries.
Both victims were treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, IMPD reported that both men are currently in stable condition, and no life-threatening injuries were reported.
