He walked up to her kids… asked where their mom was… then ended her life IN FRONT OF THEM — While she was pregnant too.
A pregnant mother in Missouri was shot and killed in front of her own children, police say.
Christina Rentchler, 35 years old and expecting a baby, was killed on April 23 while standing just feet away from her four daughters and another child.
According to police, Vanier T. Jones, a man with a criminal record, walked up to the girls and asked them, “Where’s your mother?”
The children pointed her out — and that’s when things turned into a nightmare.
Police say Jones pulled out a gun and shot Christina in the back of the head — right in front of the children.
She died at the scene. So did her unborn baby.
Jones then shot another woman who was in the home. She survived by pretending to be dead.
She later told police that Jones had been staying at her place and that he became angry before the shooting.
Jones has a long criminal past, including an assault conviction in 2023.
At the time of this shooting, he had already escaped federal supervision.
He is now in jail without bail, facing 17 serious charges, including:

Jones will appear in court on May 12.
