In Loving Memory of Steve Odierno ’93: A Beloved Colleague, Father, and Friend

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Steve Odierno. Steve, a devoted member of the Saint Joseph Regional (SJR) community, was a beloved Director of Marketing, a proud father of Steven Odierno ’23 and Katherine Odierno ’25, and a true embodiment of the values that make SJR such a special place. His unexpected passing leaves a deep void in our hearts and in the very fabric of our school.

Steve’s connection to SJR was more than just a professional role—he was a living testament to the spirit of brotherhood, loyalty, and community that is at the heart of our school. His love for SJR and its mission was felt by everyone who crossed his path. Whether he was working behind the scenes, supporting our students, or simply sharing a moment of laughter with colleagues, Steve brought a warmth, compassion, and heartfelt dedication to everything he did. His absence will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Steve was more than a colleague—he was a friend, a mentor, and a pillar of strength for many. His commitment to his work at SJR was matched only by his unwavering love for his family. As a proud father, Steve supported his children in every way, always encouraging them to strive for their best while holding true to the values he cherished so deeply. His legacy will live on in the memories of his family, his colleagues, and all of the students whose lives he touched.
