It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shawn Harold Hage, a cherished member of the Chisholm community, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Cherry Township at the age of 46.
A Tragic Accident
On April 13, 2025, Shawn was involved in a fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 5 near Herman Road in Cherry Township. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred when Shawn failed to navigate a turn, crossed the centerline, and was ejected after hitting a water-filled ditch. Bystanders attempted to assist, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Investigators suspect that alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash. Helm News
