The devastating accident occurred when a 2005 Honda Accord traveling westbound collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse heading east, resulting in fatal injuries for Mrs. Fincher, who was a passenger in the Traverse.
According to Saluda County Coroner Angie Rita, Mrs. Fincher was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. The drivers of both vehicles, along with the other passenger, were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
