In Loving Memory of Lindsay Clarke, Aveley, WA
“Fingers” – A Life Full of Love, Adventure, and Brotherhood
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lindsay Clarke, affectionately known to many as “Fingers”, of Aveley, Western Australia. A man full of life, love, and laughter, Lindsay died tragically while doing what he loved most—riding his motorbike alongside his closest mates.
Lindsay’s untimely departure has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. A devoted husband, proud father, and loyal friend, he was the kind of man who lit up any room he entered, bringing with him a contagious energy, quick wit, and a heart as wide as the open road he loved to ride. His loss is not only felt by his family, but by an entire community who knew him as much for his fierce loyalty as for his free spirit.
A Life Lived Fully
Lindsay’s passion for motorbikes wasn’t just a hobby—it was part of who he was. From a young age, the thrill of the ride and the open landscape called to him, and over the years, he developed a tight-knit brotherhood with fellow riders who became like family. Whether it was a weekend ride through the hills or a charity run to support a good cause, Lindsay was always the first to show up, the loudest to cheer, and the last to leave.
He was also known as a devoted family man, whose love for his wife and children was immeasurable. At home, he was a gentle soul—an attentive father who taught his children not only how to ride, but how to live life with courage and kindness. His family meant the world to him, and he made sure they knew it every single day.
Remembering “Fingers”
To those who knew him best, Lindsay was more than a motorbike enthusiast—he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He earned the nickname “Fingers” years ago, a playful moniker from his riding mates, and it stuck—as did the many memories and good times he shared with so many over the years.
He had a way of making people feel seen and valued, and his friends describe him as “the glue” that held so many of them together. Whether through his booming laugh, his laid-back advice, or the countless barbecues and bike meets he helped organize, Lindsay created a sense of belonging wherever he went.
A Community in Mourning
The Clarke family has been deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support from the Aveley and wider Perth community. Friends, neighbors, and fellow riders have come together to honor Lindsay’s memory and celebrate the life he lived so fully.
Plans for a memorial ride are underway—a final journey in his honor, where his mates will ride as one in tribute to their fallen brother. Details will be announced in the coming days, and all who wish to pay their respects are encouraged to attend.
In the meantime, those who wish to support the Clarke family during this incredibly difficult time can do so through donations, meal trains, or simply sharing their love and memories of Lindsay.
Gone But Never Forgotten
While Lindsay may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on—in every ride, every laugh, every story shared around a campfire or over a drink. He leaves behind a powerful legacy of love, loyalty, and living life without regrets.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children, extended family, and all who called him a friend. May we continue to honor his memory by riding a little harder, loving a little deeper, and living a little freer—just as Lindsay Clarke always did.
Ride in peace, Fingers. You will always be with us on the road. 🏍️💔
