It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that family, friends, and the entire Muscogee County community mourn the tragic loss of William Javon Tatum, affectionately known by many as “Bam.” His life, though cut short far too soon, leaves behind a lasting mark of love, laughter, and loyalty that will forever be remembered by those who were blessed to know him.

William Javon “Bam” Tatum was more than just a name — he was a presence. Known for his big heart, infectious smile, and the way he could light up any room, Bam had a spirit that drew people close. To his family, he was a son, a brother, and a protector. To his friends, he was a source of joy and an unshakable bond of loyalty. To his community, he was a young man full of potential and purpose, with dreams and ambitions that inspired those around him.

Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, Bam grew up surrounded by family and friends who loved him deeply.
