It is with profound sadness that the community of Enosburgh and the greater Franklin County area mourns the tragic loss of 18-year-old Aryanna Flemming, who passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, following a devastating accident on Vermont Route 105 in Sheldon.

According to authorities, at approximately 6:27 p.m., Vermont State Police attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding when Aryanna’s silver 2010 Honda Crosstour continued westbound at a high rate of speed. Moments later, tragedy struck when her vehicle veered off the roadway, crossed both lanes, and collided with a Toyota Tundra driven by 36-year-old Andrea Dillner of Fletcher, who sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment. Aryanna was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The impact of this heartbreaking event has left family, friends, and the Enosburgh community reeling. Aryanna was known for her bright personality, kindness, and the radiant energy she brought to everyone around her. A recent graduate of Enosburg Falls High School, she was a young woman full of promise, dreams, and ambition — someone who had her whole future ahead of her.

Those who knew Aryanna describe her as loving, loyal, and endlessly compassionate. She had a smile that could light up a room and a heart that cared deeply for others. Whether she was spending time with friends, helping family, or talking about her future, Aryanna’s presence was one of warmth and joy. While the investigation continues, what remains certain is that Aryanna’s passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her story, though cut short, is a poignant reminder of how fragile life can be and how deeply one person can touch the lives of so many.
