It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Jai’Sean Aubrey, a 14-year-old from Los Angeles, California, whose young life was tragically cut short in a solo vehicle crash on Highway 99 in Kern County during the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
According to officials, the heartbreaking accident occurred around 3:18 a.m., when the vehicle Jai’Sean was riding in — a Hyundai traveling northbound on Highway 99, just north of Panama Lane — veered off the roadway for reasons still under investigation. The vehicle struck a fence and two trees, resulting in devastating consequences. Despite efforts from emergency responders, Jai’Sean was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.
Jai’Sean was a bright, loving, and joyful teenager whose presence brought light to everyone around him. Those who knew him best describe him as full of life — a young soul with an infectious smile, a generous heart, and dreams that reflected his determination and curiosity about the world. He loved spending time with his friends and family, always offering laughter, warmth, and kindness wherever he went.
