Seminole Police Department Seeking Information in Fatal Hit-and-Run
SEMINOLE, TX — The Seminole Police Department is asking for the community’s help as they investigate a tragic hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of 68-year-old David Lynn Meador, a well-known resident of Seminole.
The fatal incident occurred on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of SE Avenue F after receiving reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. When authorities arrived on the scene, they discovered Mr. Meador lying in the roadway. Despite lifesaving measures, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to investigators, the vehicle involved did not remain at the site of the crash. Instead, it fled immediately after striking Mr. Meador, leaving behind little information about the driver or the vehicle’s description.
