In Loving Memory of Andrew Alan Berry (1986 – 2025)
McDonough, Georgia

It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew Alan Berry, who departed this life on August 3, 2025, at the young age of 39. A beloved son, friend, and beacon of compassion, Andrew leaves behind a legacy of love, empathy, and enduring friendship that will echo through the lives he touched.

Born in 1986, Andrew called McDonough, Georgia home—a place where his presence was felt deeply, not just by those who knew him personally, but by the broader community that came to respect and admire his spirit. Whether in quiet acts of generosity or in the warmth of his daily interactions, Andrew had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved.

Those who knew him best describe him as genuinely kind, deeply thoughtful, and quietly heroic in the way he supported others. He was someone you could depend on in moments of need—someone who showed up with a listening ear, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement just when it was most needed.

Andrew’s sense of compassion wasn’t performative—it was embedded in his everyday life. From comforting a friend going through hardship to volunteering his time for local causes, his humility and service to others never required recognition. He led with empathy, and his actions spoke volumes.

While Andrew’s passing leaves an immeasurable void, his memory will be a guiding light to all who had the privilege to know him. In every quiet moment, every act of kindness, and every instance of unselfish love, his spirit lives on.

To honor Andrew’s life and legacy, a reception will be held on August 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Southern Cremations & Funerals. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to come together to share stories, celebrate his life, and find comfort in one another during this time of loss.

As we gather to remember Andrew, we do so not in despair but in gratitude—for the time we shared with him, for the lives he brightened, and for the lessons he leaves behind: to love more, judge less, and always show up for one another.

He may be gone from our sight, but he will forever remain in our hearts.
