According to the Danville Police Department, Fuller was fatally shot shortly after 2:00 a.m. near the 200 block of Holbrook Street, a residential area not far from downtown.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area and arrived to find Fuller suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel attempted lifesaving efforts at the scene before transporting her to SOVAH Health – Danville. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
