In Loving Memory of Tricia N. Sokol: A Life of Love, Laughter, and Compassion

With profound sadness and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Tricia N. Sokol, age 38, who left this world peacefully on July 24, 2025, at Uniontown Hospital. A devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Tricia’s loss leaves a deep ache in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her memory will forever shine as a beacon of warmth, kindness, and joy.

Born and raised in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Tricia was a proud lifelong resident whose life was deeply rooted in her family, her community, and her love for others. She will be remembered most for her compassionate heart, always ready to give of herself, and her infectious spirit—the kind that lit up a room, lifted weary souls, and inspired those around her to see the good in the world.

Tricia had a gift for making people feel special. Whether it was a warm smile, a thoughtful gesture, or a perfectly timed laugh, she had a way of connecting with others that felt genuine and effortless. Her presence was comforting, her energy contagious, and her loyalty unmatched. She was a friend you could count on, a daughter who brought pride and joy to her parents, a sister whose bond was unbreakable, and an aunt who loved her nephews as if they were her own.

Her devotion to family was the cornerstone of her life. Tricia often found her greatest joy in the simplest of moments—gathering around the table for a home-cooked meal, celebrating milestones with laughter and love, or spending quiet afternoons with those she held dear. Her family was her foundation, and she showed her love not just in words, but in action—always showing up, always caring, always giving more than she received.

Beyond family, Tricia cultivated deep and lasting friendships. Her natural warmth and down-to-earth demeanor made her someone people gravitated toward. Her ability to listen without judgment, offer advice with care, and laugh without restraint created a circle of friends who will forever treasure the time they shared with her. In every part of her life, Tricia brought an authenticity and light that left an unforgettable imprint.

Her passing is not just the loss of a beautiful soul, but a moment for all of us to reflect on the way she lived—with grace, compassion, humility, and love. In honoring her, we commit to carrying her spirit forward in how we treat one another, how we cherish our loved ones, and how we choose kindness, even when it’s not the easiest path.

Tricia is survived by her loving parents, who were her lifelong supporters and greatest source of strength; her devoted siblings, who shared countless memories of love and laughter with her; her adoring nephews, who brought her immense pride and joy; and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends who were blessed to know her and will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home in Hopwood on Sunday, July 27, 2025. This gathering will be a time to mourn, to remember, and to celebrate a life that touched so many with beauty, grace, and unwavering love.

To Tricia—thank you for every smile, every hug, every conversation, and every quiet moment of support you gave so freely. Your time here may have ended far too soon, but your light remains, eternal and unyielding, in the lives of those you touched.

Rest peacefully, Tricia N. Sokol. You were deeply loved in life, and you will be deeply missed in your absence. But your legacy lives on—in laughter, in love, and in the cherished memories you leave behind.
