In Loving Memory of Katelynn Dollar
A Light Gone Too Soon, A Love That Endures Forever

It is with unimaginable grief and tender remembrance that we share the heartbreaking loss of our beloved daughter, Katelynn Dollar. Katelynn, a beautiful, loving, kind, and talented young woman, tragically lost her courageous battle with depression. Though her time with us was far too brief, the love she gave and the light she brought into the world will live on in our hearts forever.

Katelynn was the kind of soul who touched lives without even realizing it. Her presence had a quiet strength—gentle and generous, filled with warmth and empathy. She cared deeply for others, often putting their needs ahead of her own. Her hugs were comforting, her laughter infectious, and her smile unforgettable. Those lucky enough to know her were continually inspired by her creativity, her heart, and the softness with which she moved through a world that sometimes felt far too heavy.

She was immensely talented—whether through art, music, writing, or simply the way she saw beauty in the ordinary. Katelynn had a gift for making others feel safe, understood, and loved. Her spirit was gentle but fierce, and her heart held a depth few could fully comprehend. She gave so much of herself to the people around her, often while quietly navigating battles of her own.

Depression is a cruel and silent illness—one that too often hides behind the brightest smiles. Katelynn fought valiantly, with quiet bravery and resilience, but the weight became too much. We are devastated, but we are also committed to honoring her memory not in silence or shame—but with honesty, compassion, and love.

To celebrate the incredible life she lived and the love she gave so freely, we will be holding a Celebration of Life on:

Saturday, July 19th
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery
Macedonia Memorial Park

We invite all who knew her, loved her, or were touched by her kindness to join us in remembering the beautiful soul that was Katelynn. This will be a time to reflect, to share stories, to mourn, to celebrate, and to find comfort in one another’s presence. She would want us to come together in love and remembrance, and to carry her spirit forward with grace.

To those struggling with mental health—please know you are not alone. Katelynn’s journey reminds us all how important it is to reach out, to speak openly, and to walk alongside each other with empathy and care. Your pain is valid. Your life matters.

Katelynn, our hearts ache for you every moment. You were and will always be the brightest part of our lives. We miss your light, your laughter, your kind heart, and the way you made the world a softer, better place.

“When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.” – Kahlil Gibran

Rest peacefully, our sweet Katelynn.
You are deeply loved, eternally remembered, and forever missed.
