Suyapa underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor that had been growing undetected for an unknown number of years. Despite medical efforts, she was declared brain dead following the procedure.

Suyapa leaves behind her longtime partner, one son, and four daughters, with the youngest being 16 years old. Her children are grappling with the profound grief of losing their mother and are seeking support and prayers from the community during this challenging time.
