Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Port Neches Resident
Port Neches, Texas — A tragic motorcycle accident on March 26, 2025, resulted in the death of 32-year-old Port Neches resident Terry Willett. The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. in the 2300 block of 8th Street, prompting immediate responses from local police, fire, and emergency medical services.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Willett’s motorcycle collided with the passenger side of a vehicle making a left turn into a driveway. Following the crash, Willett was transported by ambulance to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene, and the accident is currently under investigation by the Port Neches Police Department. Chief Cheri’ Griffith has expressed condolences to Willett’s family and is committed to determining the circumstances surrounding the crash.
