The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the child was discovered unresponsive in the water at West Bay Marina and was later pronounced dead despite desperate life-saving efforts.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies responded to an emergency call reporting a possible drowning at West Bay Marina, located in the 6900 block of Liberty School Tap Road. First responders, including fire rescue personnel, rushed to the scene, where bystanders had already begun administering CPR on the child, who had been pulled from Eagle Mountain Lake moments earlier.
